MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS 2008

Use of the membership card constitutes acceptance of the terms and conditions outlined in your Club Membership Agreement. A valid membership card must be presented in order to receive the discounts. The membership card is not valid for special meals, room service, the business centre or banquet events. Please call the hotel prior to dining visit to check on restaurant availability. Certificates must be used within validity period. Shangri-La’s Far Eastern Plaza Hotel reserves the right to change, modify and/or amend the membership terms and conditions of membership without prior notice.

 

1. Food and Beverage Benefits:

a)   Upon presentation of a valid membership card, the member will be provided with one (1) complimentary meal when accompanied by one (1) or more dining guests, provided at least one (1) other meal is purchased. The complimentary portion of your bill is determined by dividing the total food bill (excluding beverages, taxes, 10% service charge, tobacco and gratuities) by the number of people in your dining party, and subtracting that amount from the original bill. Dining benefits are Non-Transferable. Not valid with any other promotions and/or discounts. Applicable for breakfast, lunch, dinner and afternoon tea buffet in the Yi Cafe or lunch, dinner and weekend tea buffet in the Marco Polo, Shang Palace, Shanghai Pavilion, and/or Lounges (Lobby Court, Li Bai Lounge, Marco Polo Lounge) between (12:00-14:00 and 18:00-21:30). Limit one (1) card per table, per party, per occasion only, per meal period.

•     50% for Member and one (1) guest

•     33% for Member and two (2) guests

•     25% for Member and three (3) guests

•     20% for Member and four (4) guests to nineteen (19) guests per table or in restaurant’s private dining room

•     25% for Member dining alone

b)   10% off beverages when used in conjunction with dining benefits. Non-Transferable.

Exclusions: All membership card may not be used for special meals, room service, functions, Valentine's Days (2/14), Chinese Valentine's Day (7/7), Christmas Eve (12/24), Christmas Day (12/25), New Year's Eve (12/31), Chinese New Year’s Eve and the first and second day of Chinese New Year and Mother’s Day. Members will receive a 20% reduction on food only during the above-mentioned days.

 

Cash Dining Vouchers:

           Eight (8) NT$500 vouchers valid at all Restaurant, valid seven (7) days a week., and can be used in conjunction with the membership card dining discount. Cash voucher will be fully transferable as per member’s authorizes and user name and contact number must be sign when guest used. Not exchanged for cash and can be used in conjunction with promotions and discounts.

 

Parking Benefit:

You will receive ten (15) certificates for One Hour Parking Coupon Redemption. Upon presentation of this certificate, you are entitled to redeem one hour parking coupon with an outlet Cashier of restaurant at Hotel. Transferable. This certificate must be presented at the time of dining together with member’s authorization, user name and contact number.

 

Special Occasion Certificate:

You will receive one (1) certificate for 30% reduction on the total food bill in any one of the hotel’s restaurants of a table of eight-fifteen people. Not valid with any other discounts or promotions. Transferable.

 

2. Guest Room Benefits:

a)    Thirty-five percent (35 %) reduction on the regular rack rate for all guest room types (excluding the Horizon Floor, Specialty Suite and Presidential Suite) upon presentation of a valid membership card. Non-Transferable. Subject to availability and prior confirmed reservation(s).

b)    Thirty percent (30%) off for member’s guest(s) for all room types (excluding the Horizon Floor, the Specialty Suite and the Presidential Suites). Subject to availability and prior confirmed reservation(s). Transferable. A valid membership number must be provided at time of advance reservation for member and/or guests.

 

Guest Room Voucher:

a)      The member will receive two (2) certificate for a Special Weekend Stay in a Superior Room at only NT$2,999. This benefit is non-transferable, valid on Friday, Saturday and Sunday for up to two (2) consecutive nights.The member will receive one (1) certificate for a Special Weekend Stay in a Superior Room at only NT$3,999. This benefit is non-transferable, valid on Friday, Saturday and Sunday for up to two (2) consecutive nights.

b)      The member will receive one (1) certificate for a Special Weekend Stay in an Executive Room at only NT$4,888. This benefit is non-transferable, valid on Friday, Saturday and Sunday for up to two (2) consecutive nights.

c)       The member will receive one (1) certificate for a Special Weekend Stay in a Plaza Suite Room at only NT$5,999. This benefit is non-transferable, valid on Friday, Saturday and Sunday for up to two (2) consecutive nights.

 

All room benefits may not be used in conjunction with any other promotion discount. Not valid during Trade Show and Semicon Computex periods, and special holidays such as New Year’s Day, New Year’s Eve and Christmas Eve. 3. Lobby/Lounge Benefits:

     Upon presentation of a valid membership card, the member will be entitled to a 10% reduction on the total bill, including food and beverages consumed (excluding taxes, 10% service charge, tobacco and gratuities) in the Lobby Court, the Li Bai Lounge and the Marco Polo Lounge. Non-Transferable. 

 

4. The Cake Shop:

Upon presentation of a valid membership card, the member will be entitled to a 20% reduction on all cakes, pastries and all other items at the Cake Shop. Not valid with any other discounts or promotions. Non-Transferable.

 

5. Health Club Benefit:

10% off Health Club membership fees. Not applicable to renewals. Non-Transferable. Health Club is located on the 6th floor of the Shangri-La’s Far Eastern Plaza Hotel.

a) Ten (10) NT$400 Cash certificates at Taipei Metro Health Club. NT$400 off when using the facilities at the Health Club including gym, spa and swimming pool. One pass per person/per visit. Transferable. This benefit may not be used in conjunction with any other promotion discount.

b) Ten (10) NT$300 Cash certificates for traditional massage service at Taipei Metro Health Club. This certificate is valid   for NT$300 off traditional massage service at the Health Club. One pass per person/per visit. Transferable. This benefit may not be used in conjunction with any other promotion discount.

c) Three (3) 20% discount certificates for swimming lesson package at Taipei Metro Health Club. This certificate entitles the bearer to 20% discount on one Swimming Lesson package at Taipei Metro Health Club. Minimum 10 hours per package required for discount. Transferable. This benefit may not be used in conjunction with any other promotion discount. Not Valid to July, August and September.

 

6. Spa Benefits:

a)  You will receive 6 certificates entitling to a 50% reduction on the regular rack rate for use of Spa rooms valid seven days a week.

b)  Upon presentation of a valid membership card, the member will be entitled to a 25% reduction on use of Spa rooms, valid seven days a week.

 

7. CLUB HOTEL Benefits:

Member will receive one (1) complimentary CLUBHOTEL card which entitles member to enjoy Non-Transferable   benefits offered by participating CLUBHOTEL hotels worldwide.
