In 1991 the vision of a Mexican entrepreneur, whose dream was to offer the best properties, locations, service and quality within the hospitality industry, gave as a result the creation of Brisas Hotels & Resorts, whose mission is to offer a highly customized service to each and everyone of its guests, in order to achieve their satisfaction and loyalty.

Antonio Cosío Ariño, President of the Board of Directors for Brisas Hotels & Resorts, owned at that time wonderful hotels like: Las Brisas Acapulco, Galería Plaza in Mexico City, Hacienda Jurica in Queretaro and Las Brisas Ixtapa, which were managed by important international hotel chains. Since year 2000 and having realized that we had spectacular properties that fulfill the tastes of the most demanding travelers, we then decided to create a 100% Mexican hotel chain. By acquiring two more jewels: Las Hadas Golf Resort & Marina Manzanillo and Las Brisas Huatulco we made a decisive step to complement the array of options that this solid hotel group offers to the national and international market.

With the pride of being a 100% Mexican company and relying on hoteliers with recognized prestige and knowledge of the market and its needs, we named Rafael J. Millán as CEO, in order to guide the destiny of our important chain by always keeping in mind the experience in quality and service that has always taken him to achieve guest´s satisfaction as our main goal and combining the enormous responsibility of generating thousands of jobs that proudly maintain many Mexican families. This makes our group an essential part of the Mexican tourism industry development.
