Excelsior Plus

Use of the membership card constitutes acceptance of the conditions listed herein. Please quote a valid membership number when making any reservations. All offers are subject to availability and prior reservation. Arrangements are not to be made through travel or conference agents and are not applicable to existing negotiated group rates, nor to be used in conjunction with any other discount schemes. The Excelsior, Hong Kong, reserves the right to change member’s benefits without prior notice.

1. Membership Card:
The EXCELSIOR PLUS membership card is the property of the issuing agent and must be returned upon request. Membership privileges will be honoured only upon presentation of a signed and valid membership card and only through the date embossed on the membership card. Membership card has no cash value. The membership card is not transferable.

2. Dining:
Upon presentation of a valid membership card to your server, you will receive one (1) complimentary meal each dining visit when accompanied by one or more dining guests, providing a minimum of two (2) meals are purchased (minimum 2 main courses or 2 buffets). The complimentary portion of your bill is determined by dividing the total food bill (excluding beverages, service charge, tobacco, taxes and gratuities) by the number of people in your party, and subtracting that amount from the original bill. Limited to one card per party, per reservation. Dining benefits are not transferable. For seven to twelve (7-12) guests dining and for single dining a 15% discount will be offered (excluding beverages, service charge, tobacco, taxes and gratuities). Offers do not apply to private/corporate events of 13 persons or above. Your membership card will be honoured at ToTT’s and Roof Terrace (In the terrace area only 15% discount on beverages applicable), Yee Tung Heen, Cammino, Lounge on the 1st, Café on the 1st and Dickens Bar. 15% discount off for cardholder with one to twelve (1-12) guests at ToTT’s and Roof Terrace Sunday Brunch. 10% discount at EXpresso on Food and Beverage (except merchandise items).  Members are entitled to 10% discount on all black-out days, while all certificates are not applicable on black-out days. The Excelsior, HongKong  reserves the right to change the hours of operation, or close any restaurant or bar without prior notice. The membership card holder must be present throughout the meal to be entitled to the dining benefits.

3. EXCELSIOR PLUS privileges cannot be used in conjunction with any other discounts, benefits, special offers or programmes. Only one discount can be enjoyed per visit.

4. Dining Certificates:
a.One (1) “special occasion” certificate for 50% discount on the total food bill at Café on the 1st for a table of six (6) to twelve (12) people. Valid Monday to Thursday. Not valid with any other discounts or promotions and on all black-out dates. Non-transferable.

b.One (1) “special occasion” certificate for 50% discount on the total food bill at Dickens Bar for a table of six (6) to twelve (12) people. Valid Monday to Sunday. Not valid with any other discounts or promotions and on all black-out dates. Non-transferable.

c.Four (4) certificates each valid for one (1) complimentary bottle of “house wine” (to be chosen by Hotel) to be enjoyed when dining at any of the hotel’s restaurants. Valid only when dining with minimum of Two (2) or more guests (i.e. minimum three (3) persons in total) for three (3) main courses. Only one (1) certificate to be used per visit. Transferable.

d.Two (2) certificates valid for Buffet Breakfast for two (2) people at Café on the 1st at the special price of HK$100* only. *Price subject to 10% service charge. Transferable.

e.One (1) sparkling wine certificate for one (1) complimentary bottle of sparkling wine (to be chosen by the Hotel) when dining with minimum of Two (2) or more guests (i.e. minimum three (3) persons in total) for three main courses when dining at any one of the hotel restaurants. Transferable.

f.Two (2) complimentary cake certificates for a one pound (1-lbs) cake. Must be ordered at least 24 hours in advance and consumed in any of the hotel restaurants whilst dining and consuming at least two main meals. A party of 5 (or above) diners can upgrade to a two-pound (2-lbs) cake (Minimum five main courses required). Transferable.

g.Two (2) certificates for two (2) complimentary pouring brand drinks when dining in any one of the hotel restaurants (two main courses required).
Transferable.

h.Cash certificates to the total value of HK$1,000. Ten (10) HK$100 cash certificates valid in any one of the hotel restaurants during lunch or dinner only, with a minimum of two (2) persons taking a main course or buffet. Transferable. Valid with Excelsior Plus discount (deduction of this certificate before membership discount is applied). A maximum of one (1) cash certificate may be used per visit. Cash Certificate Value does not contribute to total car park spend.

i.Cash certificates to the total value of HK$1,200. Two (2) HK$600 cash certificates valid at any one of the hotel restaurants during lunch or dinner only, with a minimum of HK$2,000 spend. Transferable. A maximum of one (1) cash certificate may be used per visit. Not valid with any other discount or privileges. Cash Certificate Value does not contribute to total car park spend.

j.Two (2) certificates for 30% off on total food bill (excluding tobacco) for a table of minimum six (6) to maximum twelve (12) people at Yee Tung Heen, Cammino and ToTT’s and Roof Terrace. Valid on Monday to Thursday for dinner only. Not valid with any other discounts or promotions and on all black-out dates. Not applicable for private rooms. Non-transferable.

k.One (1) certificate for 30% off on total food bill at ToTT's and Roof Terrace Sunday Brunch for a table of minimum two (2) to maximum twelve (12) people. Not valid with any other discounts or promotions. Non-transferable.

l.Five (5) “Buy One Get One Free” drinks certificates valid Monday to Thursday at Dickens Bar. Not valid in conjunction with any other promotions. Only one (1) certificate to be used per visit. Transferable.

All dining certificates are not valid at terrace area of ToTT’s and Roof Terrace.

5. Guest Room Benefits:
a.Two  (2) “Buy One Night Get One Free” certificates each valid for one (1) complimentary night stay when one (1) night is paid at the special members rate in one guest room. Subject to availability and advance reservation. Transferable. The overnight stay certificate must be presented at the time of check-in. Nights must be consecutive and based on advance booking. Only valid for new members.

b.Forty percent (40%) off rack rate for all room types, single or double occupancy, valid seven (7) days a week.  A valid membership number must be presented at the time of advance reservation. Transferable.  Subject to availability. Member/membership need not be present at time of his/her guest check-in to qualify for the above rates. Cannot be used in conjunction with any other benefit, discount or promotional rate.

c.Five (5) certificates of 50% off the published room rate. Subject to availability and advance reservation. Rates are subject to change without prior notice. Transferable.

d.Three (3) certificates of 50% off the rack room rate each valid at Macau, Manila and Sanya respectively. Subject to availability and advance reservation. Rates are subject to change without prior notice. Transferable.

e.One (1) suite upgrade certificate entitling the member to a complimentary upgrade to suite room, subject to availability and applicable to only paid bookings. Not valid when using any complimentary night certificate(s). Non-transferable.

f.Flexible check-in and check-out time, not to exceed four (4) hours before and after posted times. Subject to availability.

6. Referral Card Incentive:
The member will receive one (1) certificate valid for a complimentary buffet lunch for two (2) persons at Café on the 1st upon submission of names of five (5) friends or colleagues to be approached for potential membership where one (1) or more of the above referrals purchase a membership. Transferable.

7. Catering Benefits:
The member will receive a 10% discount on a minimum of ten (10) tables of ten (10) guests at any function with a minimum purchase of four thousand Hong Kong Dollars (HK$4,000). Beverages, room hire, equipment rental, meeting surcharges, tobacco, taxes and gratuities are not included. Maximum discount eleven thousand Hong Kong Dollars (HK$11,000) per year. Not valid for outside catering. Not valid with any other discounts or promotions. Discount only valid at time of booking and cannot be applied to previously booked events. The membership card must be presented at time of initial booking or enquiry. Not valid for events booked prior to membership. Transferable.

8. EXpresso Benefits:
The member will receive a 10% discount at EXpresso.  Only vaild for coffee, tea, pastries, sandwiches and Lord Stow egg tart. Non-transferable.

9. The Excelsior Wellness Centre Benefits:
One (1) certificate for 25% off all facial and body treatments at The Excelsior Wellness Centre. Transferable.

10. CLUBHOTEL Benefits:
Complimentary CLUBHOTEL membership card. Non-transferable. CLUBHOTEL benefits are benefits offered to CLUBHOTEL members from other markets. Benefits include the dining and guest room benefits. Not valid in Hong Kong.

11. Business Centre Benefits:
20% off Business Centre services. Not valid for paid outs such as courier fees. Non-transferable.

12. Bar and Lounge Benefits:
Members will enjoy a fifteen percent (15%) off beverages at ToTT’s and Roof Terrace, Dickens Bar and Lounge on the 1st. Not valid in conjunction with food discounts and during happy hours. Non-transferable.

13. Renewal Benefits:
a. Year one (1) renewal - One (1) complimentary night stay certificate (Non-transferable) valid for a standard room. Subject to advance reservation, space availability and restrictions on allocated rooms.
b. Year two (2) renewal - Upgrade to Platinum member with the choice of one (1) complimentary night certificate (Non-transferable) or Five (5) HK$100 cash certificates (Transferable) valid at any of the hotel restaurants during lunch or dinner only, with a minimum of two (2) guests each taking a main course. Maximum of one (1) certificate can be used per visit.
c. Year three (3) renewal - Platinum Card Holder will receive one (1) complimentary night certificate (Non-transferable) and Five (5) HK$100 cash certificates (Transferable) valid at any of the hotel restaurants during lunch or dinner only, with a minimum of two (2) guests each taking a main course. Maximum of one (1) certificate can be used per visit.
d. Year four (4) renewal – One (1)  “Complimentary Night Stay/Buffet Dinner for Two” certificate (Non-transferable) and Five (5) HK$100 cash certificates (Transferable) valid at any of the hotel restaurants during lunch or dinner only, with a minimum of two (2) guests each taking a main course. Maximum of one (1) certificate can be used per visit.
