Since
then, McClure has labored to create the finest
single-origin, blended, and flavored chocolate bars
imaginable. This commitment to excellence garnered
Patric Chocolate a 2011 Good Food Award and recognition
as a “Best New American Chocolate” by Food &
Wine Magazine. Additionally, Patric Chocolate is
currently a 2012 Good Food Award Finalist for both its
Signature 70% Blend and its much loved PBJ OMG which
features peanut butter along with chocolate citrus
notes. Patric
Chocolate bars are made with only a handful of select
ingredients, and never include artificial ingredients,
chemically modified alkalized cocoa products,
surfactants such as lecithin, or genetically modified
beet sugar. By using only amazing, family-farm grown
cacao; natural cocoa butter; and pure cane sugar Patric
Chocolate is able to create chocolates with clean
flavors. Complexity comes solely from the natural
aromatic qualities of the cacao and the chocolate
maker’s talents in coaxing them out. Additionally,
when organic ingredients are available, Patric opts to
use them, whether it is the natural dark-roasted peanut
butter in its PBJ OMG, or the organic
